Week 12 Part A: Using Business Specific Online Tools

Exploring Online Tools to Enhance My Business

Running Made For You Flower Shop while balancing other aspects of life as an entrepreneur, mom, and student means I’m always on the lookout for tools to make things more efficient. This week, I explored a few online platforms and tools that could improve my business operations, networking, and customer engagement. Here’s what I found and how I plan to incorporate...

Meetup for Women Entrepreneurs

Meetup offers a variety of groups for women entrepreneurs, and I was thrilled to find one specifically for Latina business owners. Attending virtual and in-person events could help me connect with like-minded women in my community while finding potential clients or collaborators.

While I haven’t attended a Meetup event yet, I’ve joined a couple of groups and look forward to networking with others who understand the challenges and rewards of being a business owner.

Maximizing Google Business Profile

Google Business Profile is already a major tool for my business, but this week, I experimented with adding posts to highlight seasonal arrangements and promotions. I also discovered I could create a custom Google Map to showcase my service area, including cities like San Marcos, Fallbrook, and Oceanside.

Using the insights feature, I learned that most people find me through searches like “wedding florist near me,” which reaffirms that my SEO efforts on madeforyouflowers.com are paying off.

What’s Next?

This week’s exploration of online tools reminded me how much potential there is to enhance both my business processes and client engagement. Tools like Google Business Profile are already proving to be extra helpful .

The key takeaway? Investing time in the right tools can help Made For You Flower Shop not just grow, but thrive in today’s digital age.
